Every summer, I love to revisit Jane Austen’s novels once in a while and remind myself how much I love her writing, but what I love more is her ability to capture the essence of being a book lover perfectly.

She is a great reader and has no pleasure in anything else.

Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Love this post! I liked this one from Pride and Prejudice- “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”
“Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves, vanity to what we would have others think of us.”

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite books but it’s the only Jane Austen’s book I’ve read! It’s true that she definitely has the talent to describe the quietness of reading a book!
