Some achievements regarding reading this year in numbers : 110 unique books read, along with 150 graphic novels and comics. It’s my personal preference that  I don’t count my graphic novels and comics as books so I just separate the two categories.

restaurants

For those who follow me on Instagram, you know I’m also a food photographer and had the chance to go to 269 restaurants this year (I don’t count the number of times I came back but only unique restaurants)  and discovering the beautiful culinary scene of Montreal.

fashionweek1

One of the most unexpected trips for me this year apartgoing to Nice with my mom, is the two Fashion Weeks I got the chance to attend ! First time I got to see and witness a Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Versace runways.

medschool

Last but not least, my most proud moment is when I got home with the award of medical student of the year ! I had the chance to be admitted in a Surgery Fellowship, along with being selected to  work in the Emergency Deparment, High Trauma Surgery, which I’m very grateful for.

But along with those opportunities, came a lot of struggles and failures and lessons learned. I had to adapt and survive between medschool, work at the hospital, book blogging, food photography and fashion blogging.  But that’s for the next post ! 🙂

I also want to take the time to thank you all for such an amazing year, for those who stayed with me and read my posts, to those who liking the posts as well and leaving comments, it’s greatly appreciated ! You’ve witnessed a lot of my life adventures and more will come in 2020 🙂 Thank you to all the new comers as well who just discovered in 2019 and a big big hug to those who followed Bookidote since the beginning ! 🙂

See you soon and have a happy new year my lovely people! 😀
