I just came back from France and Dominican Republic 🌴 and I have finally time to write a quick review of a book I finished in one sitting.

Daisy Jones & The Six is one of those books where you have no idea what’s it about but you just want to risk it and go ahead with it anyways. Oh my, did I make a good decision to do it LOL Because this book was hella good. It was so realistic and full of details that I legit googled if Daisy Jones and The Six was a real band. The only thing I found out is a TV Show is in the making! Can’t wait to see it and hear the songs !
I loved Bohemian Rhapsody the movie and I would say the plot follows the same concept. It’s about a band, following their up’s and downs together.

What makes this novel a 5 stars for me was the vulnerability of the characters. The main Characters are Daisy Jones and The Six lead Singer. They are both so different, living opposite lives but somehow are very much alike thanks to the love for music.
I went through of all the characters emotions and feelings : love frustration, desperationx hopelessness, and it just made me appreciate life even more. Oh and, the chemistry between the main characters is just insane 😂 I simply cannot wait to hear the songs playing in the tv show.

The writing style is very entertaining, the perfect beach read when you want a good story with amazing character development but still a light and relax read.
Have you read this book? What did you think about it ? 🙂
Big thank you to Penguin Random House for sending me a copy to review ✨
