HI GUYS!! Trang’s back 😀 I guess it will be a very comic focused post since yesterday is .. The 5th of November!! Hola to V for Vendetta reference 😉 It would be a shame to not mention this super graphic novel.
Beneath this mask there is more than flesh, Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.
Alright now back to Thor: Ragnarok movie and my verdict is …
5 STARS / 5
THE HUMOUR
This movie was amazing and HILARIOUS. I loved Marvel movies and I was very picky with Guardians of The Galaxy, but here the humour was just perfect. This movie is the perfect example of super heroes and comedy. It doesn’t feel forced, doesn’t feel like they’re trying hard. It is simply naturally funny. One character in particular that I absolutely loved is Korg (he’s the big blug guy made of rocks in this trailer) . I laughed EVERYTIME he was on screen.I just learned that he was played by the director Taika Waititi and all his lines WERE IMPROVISED OMG ❤ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLz9AYXrK44
EVERY SCENE in this movie has a joke, it was the first time I hear so many laughters in less than an hour LOL
THE EMOTIONS
I think Marvel comes a long way and finally understood that a super hero movie is more than just PEW PEW and Special Effects. It’s how you make people feel. They nailed it in this movie by incorporating a lot of character’s depth. From family bond between Thor and Loki to Thor friendship with Hulk, we get to see it all.

THOR’S POWER
We finally get to see Thor and his real powers! A lot of Thor representation is him with his hammer that we almost forget that he is actually the God of Thunder. This movie shows it all, how he can embrace his inner strength and claim his thunder.
« Are you the God of Hammers? – Odin to Thor »

THE VILLAIN
If you saw the trailer you know that the villain in this movie is Hela, the goddess of Death who will stop at nothing to claim Asgard. Cate Blanchett was perfect for the role, she can be vulnerable and powerful at the same time. That’s what I love about this movie. You don’t just see the villain you see the origin of Hela and why she was banished from Asgard from the start. Honestly if I were in her place, I’d do the same.

Finally, an ending that makes sense ! We all know that you just can’t defeat The Goddess of Death with some.. Thunder right? 😉 They needed something stronger… and Thor came up with the perfect weapon!
If you watched the movie, what did you think about it? And what did you think about the post-credits scene (PSS THERE ARE TWO) ?

Spoiler here for people who watched the movie :
The ship that Thor & Co encountered looks like it’s a ship of..Thanos :O TUN TUN TUN.

I like to keep track of my infinity stones whenever I see a Marvel movie and I’m sad to say that.. we haven’t seen the Soul Stone in this one. My best guess is it’s going to be in Black Panther before Avengers: Infinity War! It’s logical when you think about it, how did the isolated island gets their powers huh ? 😉 Update : I completely forgot what I wrote in Guardians of The Galaxy.. WE ALREADY LOCATED THE SOUL STONE LOL It’s in Adam Warlock, at the end od the credit scene of Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2 like I mentioned inmy review.
