No offense to the great Dan Simmons, but the sequels just got weird.  However, Hyperion remains one of my favourite books !

    Oh I love this tag! Totally agree with you on Katherine Arden, I am here for whatever she puts out. I’m fine without a Circe sequel though, the ending was just *so* perfect.

      OMG YESS!! Katherine Arden is such a new author revelation for me haha. CIrce was perfect indeed but I’m still curious to see what she comes up with XD

    I enjoyed Katherine Arden’s writing immensely but, despite her Russian folktale not being my cup of tea, I would definitely want to check out more of her works. And I LOVED Blake Crouch’s ‘Dark Matter’!! He came out with Recursion last year and I just saw our library has newly acquired a copy! Imagine my excitement!! I’m also curious to try out Circe(even though I haven’t had as much luck with fantasies for some time now). This was a fun post to read ❤
